- After a week of unplugging and unwinding, please be reminded of the following eLearning policies and procedures:
- Attendance is tracked for each class, therefore, students must check in to each class as instructed by their teachers.
- If your child will be logging in late, logging off early, or not participating for the day, please be sure to call or email Mrs. Austenberg per usual attendance procedures.
- The bell schedule has been posted to Mrs. Toth's Google Classroom, was included in the letter emailed to parents on March 12, and was sent in hard copy on Friday, March 13 along with the emergency work folder. Note that students in Advanced Band will "attend" that class block 1 on Thursdays.
- While the entire community is adjusting to eLearning, please remember that your child's daily lessons are part of their education for the 2019-20 school year and third marking period grades (posted April 17). Students must be online each day, completing the tasks given to them.
- Mrs. Toth, Mrs. Lanka, Mrs. Austenberg, and members of the Child Study Team are always accessible via email during school hours.
- Teachers will continue to post grades to Parent Portal.
- With many teachers moving to Zoom and other face-to-face interactive platforms, please be reminded that students are expected to behave appropriately and that the Code of Conduct applies even during distance learning. Thank you in advance for reinforcing these expectations with your child(ren).
- A reminder that Yearbooks are available for purchase at
ybpay.lifetouch.com, Yearbook ID code 1757520. Note that 8th grade students will automatically receive a Yearbook. If you are interested in submitting eLearning candid photos to be included in this year's edition, please see the March 23 Weekly Update for specific instructions.
