A message from the administration team
Blaine High School Families:
We had an excellent homecoming week, and we thank you for your support. Here are a couple of reminders as we head into another week at Blaine High School.
Parent/Guardian - Teacher Conferences:
Trimester 1 Parent-Teacher Conferences are October 5th, from 2:45-8:00 p.m. and will be available both in person or online. Check your inbox for an email you should have received on September 20th with a link to sign up.
You will receive an email on the day of conferences to remind you of your appointments and provide you with the Google Meet links to join the meetings if you choose the virtual option.
Please reach out to your student's teachers if you have any questions.
If you need an interpreter, please call 763-506-6502 or email Deidre.hoffman@ahschools.us by Monday, September 26th.
Practice ACT:
On Monday, October 10th, we will proctor the Practice ACT for all 11th-grade students who registered to take it. 11th-grade students should arrive at the normal time as the test will start at 7:40 a.m. in their assigned advisories. Additional information about the ACT can be found at www.ACT.org, along with information on acceptable calculators for use while taking the Practice ACT.
Students in grade 11 will also be offered the ACT in April of 2023. Additional information will be communicated in the spring regarding this test administration.
All 9th, 10th, and 12th-grade students will have a remote learning day. These students do not need to report to school that day. If they choose to come in, we will have a quiet study area to complete their remote learning assignments and have lunch. Teachers will share assignments for students on their Google Classroom page for them to complete independently. Buses will run at their normal times.
As always, we thank you for your partnership. Educating 3,000 students is a team effort that isn’t possible without parent/guardian and school collaboration.
