This year our Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the 21st Century Room the week of October 25th-28th.

On Monday-Wednesday, the K-6 students will look at the offerings during their normal library times. (Remember Tuesday-Thursday are all early outs!). Purchases can be made Tuesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday during school hours, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

*We are offering both in-person and virtual Parent - Teacher Conferences this year. If you have not yet scheduled a conference with your child's teacher, please do so as soon as possible.

*We have resumed serving breakfast in the cafeteria, as opposed to the "grab & go" sack that students were taking to their classes. Doors open for breakfast beginning at 7:50 a.m. If your child will be eating breakfast at school, please have them arrive prior to 8:00 a.m.

*If your child walks to and from school each day, please ask them to not cut through the lawns of townspeople.

*Interested in assisting at school once in awhile? We are always looking for paraeducator substitutes. Please contact Debbie Bennage at debbie.bennage@danvillecsd.org if you would possibly be interested in serving as a paraeducator sub.

*Just a reminder, if your child is absent for an extended period of time, you can pick up his/her homework in the elementary office on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Call the office and let Alice know if your child needs his/her homework collected.

*As you prepare for school Halloween parties, please be reminded the school does not allow weapons or guns of any kind or toys that simulate weapons or guns. Students are also not allowed to paint their faces for school Halloween party events.

*Please be reminded we are still limiting visitors at school at this time.

Congratulations to our September PBIS Award winners! These students were chosen by their classroom teacher to be awarded with the "Be Responsible" reward for their classrooms. They were all chosen for their demonstration of great responsibility at school.

We need your assistance! Have you seen any books with the "American Reading Company" stickers on them that may have been lost at home? We would love if you would return them to school. Please be on the lookout for books with stickers like or similar to the ones shown in the pictures below. Thank you!
