COLLABORATING WITH PARENTS: MYTH BUSTERS
Kelly Fonner
Session Description: There are many myths that plague us in AAC. These myths are often held by family members, educators and other related service staff. During this webinar we will review myths related to using symbols, voice production, supports needed, core vocabulary, staff training, and more. This webinar will also include practical strategies for school staff and family to work together cooperatively to create successful AAC interventions and integration.
