Carolina Waste
Trash can must be:
-3 to 6 ft apart from other objects, cars, mailbox, etc.
-Cardboards, contact them 24 hours before to place an order.
-Cans must not be over flown, see picture.
-Do no place cans on neighbor’s property.
-Cul-de-sacs, please don’t block access to trucks.

Residential streets have a 25-speed limit. Respect the law and do the right thing when no one is watching.
Be Aware: Devon Forest Blvd. street lights - timing has changed. Drive with Caution!
ATV, Dirt Bikes, etc.
ATV, dirt bikes, and others may not be on the paved roads. Contact Non-emergency number for Berkeley County Sheriff.
Can NOT drive an ATV more than 30 minutes after sunset or more than 30 minutes before sunrise unless headlights are on. Under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in a reckless manner.

Golf Cart
SC LAW:
Must be 16 years of age, driver license, not allowed on roads after dark, must have insurance, and be within 4 miles of home.

Trailers, Boat and Boat Trailer, etc.
- Boats, Trailers, Boat Trailers, RVs, etc. must be properly stored by August 1, 2022.
- Ensure it is parked on the side of your home, back yard, or stored elsewhere.
- Refer to Covenants- Article IV, Section 4.2 and 4.3.
Vehicles
- No vehicles are permitted to stay on the street overnight as per Article IV, Section 4.2, 4.3, and By-Law 12.
- Ensure all four tires are on your property.

Property
- Easement under Article III, Section 3.7, states it is the responsibility of homeowner to maintain it.
- Landscaping and Property Upkeep as per By-Law 10, ensure you property is in good standing.
- Mowed and maintained at height no greater than 3 inches in front and back lots.
- Edged along all concrete cubs, walkways, driveways, and foundation.
- Grass clippings and debris must be cleaned from roadways.
Improvements to Fence, Home, Backyard must be submitted and approved by HOA, see Article III, Section 3.4, 3.5, and 3.8.

Pet Owners
- Ensure pet is on a leash when outside of the confines of owner's dwelling, on a lot, street, or common areas.
- Pet owners walking your pet, ensure you pick up after your pet. (Pick up POOP)
- Respect your neighbors and their property.
No Burning
- No burning, burying or other disposal of garbage or trash on any lot shall be permitted.
- Refer to Article IV, Section 4.7.
Consequences for Non-Compliance
- 1st Code Violation - a notice and 10 business days to comply.
- 2nd Code Violation - $5.00 Fine and 7 days to comply.
- 3rd Code Violation - $25.00 fine and 10 days to comply. After 10 days, an additional fine of $25.00 added for every 10 days.
- 4th Code Violation - $100 fine and contractor hired to correct the violation at homeowner's expense.

Lived in Buxton for 16 years. I enjoy going golfing and fishing. I love the neighborhood; it is a beautiful area to live in.
Michele A. Poulos, Treasurer
I am a Buxton resident since 2003 and love raising my four children in this wonderful neighborhood. My background is in accounting and currently the Accounting Director for Stokes KIA. During my downtime, I love being out in the water with family on the boat, and my favorite season is football, Go Gamecocks! I would love to see our neighborhood continue to be beautiful, quiet, and an amazing place to raise children.
