Dear Wildcat Families,
Spring Break is here!!! Despite the rainy week, nothing could dampen our school spirit this week. Staff and students alike participated in themed dress days this week, as a fun way to launch into our much needed break. Seeing the students smile and express themselves with creative outfits helped to brighten the somewhat dreary weather this week.
This break is much deserved for all staff and students. Their hard work up to this point has more than earned them a week of rest and relaxation. I hope this break allows everyone to regain the needed strength to finish this year strong. One thing I know for sure is Wildcats never give up!
I wish all staff, students, and families a wonderful break, and I look forward to seeing everyone back in the building on April 4th.

Pajama Day
Blue and Yellow Day
Not only are these our school colors, they were also worn in support of the Ukrainian people. Students decorated sunflowers, the national flower of the Ukraine and also a sign of peace, throughout the building.
Sports Day
We were rooting for our favorite teams on Wednesday. It looks like we have some future basketball stars among us.
Hat Day
There were a variety of hats worn by staff and students on Thursday. It was was fun to see everyone's creativity.
Vacation Day
Friday we dreamed of sunny days and vacation as we enjoyed our final day before break.

Illinois Science Assessment
On April 12, students will take the Illinois Science Assessment. This assessment contains 3 sections. Like IAR, it is completed online, but it is untimed. ISA is given to students in grades 5, 8, and 11 statewide as a means to gauge scientific knowledge of students. Please ensure students arrive to school well rested for the test.
