MAINTENANCE / GROUNDS / TRANSPORTATION

  • LH Rather Athletics is being prepped to receive a new, large capacity washer and dyer. Our crew has blocked the old doorway, added a double sized opening, relocated the ice machine, and poured a concrete floor to accommodate the tub drain and drain lines.
  • The Maintenance Department is staying busy completing work orders on a daily basis.
  • The baseball turf conversion is complete! The turf crew was able to finish installing the infill and final touch ups before the rain. The block is still a couple weeks out for the dugouts and backstop. Once it arrives, the crew will get right to work. The backstop netting and pad will follow immediately after the block is installed.
  • Exterior doors are a top priority and these are being check in each building weekly or even daily. The maintenance department knows the importance of these door sweeps and are quick to respond when work orders are placed.

TECHNOLOGY

  • Our team has set up a new camera system at the Ag Barn. This system is the same as our other new systems districtwide and can be accessed/viewed by administrators.
  • The tech department continues to stay busy with tech tickets and resolving issues.

  • Everyone in our Tech Department attended two trainings: The North Star Group at Bells ISD and Cyber Insurance Seminar at Region 10.
