NLRMS 7/8th-grade Campus Beautification Project 2022
Primary Projects Include:
Cleaning out the flower beds in the front of the school
Clean up all green spaces around the school campus including around the tennis courts, track, and wooded area as needed.
Clean off all breezeways leading into the school entrances (Power washer need to wash the front of the school)
Cut back tree branches in the front of the school and in flower beds as needed and in the courtyard.
Construct outdoor benches for more seating for our students
Construct an outdoor pantry/ closet- This will be used as an extension of Jasmine's closet that will serve outside our school community to give back to our community.
Construct an outdoor "little Library for the Community use.
Fix or replace the tetherball game
Paint lines on the outside basketball courts
Powerwash the front walkways and sidewalk in the front of the school.
We need our parents, guardians, and community members to help with molding the NLRMS 7/8 campus into a positive, welcoming, and safe school for your children.
We want our campus to be a place our students and families are proud of being a part of.

Donations that are needed:
Landscape Consultant
Perennial Flowers, ground cover that is low maintenance and durable.
Heavy Duty Trash Bags
Water hoses and sprinklers for the front flower beds.
Blue, Gold, and White Striping Paint to restriping the outside basketball courts in the courtyard.
8 outdoor heavy-duty Basketball nets for an 18-inch rim.
work gloves
Heavy-Duty Trash/leaf bags
Buddy Bench for a safe place for students to sit when outside in the courtyard.
Any materials that would be needed to successfully complete the beautification projects for the NLRMS Campus will be accepted and put to good use.
If you know of a local business, civic group, or faith-based organization that would like to donate to the beautification project please have them contact Mrs. Amberg at ambergb@nlrsd.org

First Chapter Friday
First Chapter Friday is designed to encourage our students to want to read the rest of the story. Students can find all the books that are being promoted by visiting our school library. NLRMS 7/8 Campus Quiz Bowl Team 2021-2022
We had a long day, but man was it a good one! North Little Rock Middle School 7/8 Campus Quiz Bowl team took 2nd place at the State tournament!
These kids fought hard and it came down to a couple of questions difference in the championship game. So proud to coach this team!

Afterschool Tutoring on Tuesday's and Thursday's
After School Tutoring Program
FREE After School Tutoring Program, FREE Transportation Home! Please use the link to sign up for NLRMS 7/8 free afterschool program. This program is free and has transportation from the school. Tutoring is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:40-5:10 pm. This is a time for students to get caught up on any assignments or extra help on a skill. The after-school program will heavily focus on English and Math assignments. Please use the link to sign your student up for this program.
