The AFC PTC is excited to offer both in person and online sales for this year's Perfect Pastry Fundraiser!

• You can can register for an online account by clicking here.

Orders can be shipped directly to the customer or you can deliver in person. Registration is open now and sales go through 10/15. Product pickup will take place on November 12th from 3:30 - 5:00 PM in the ES cafeteria.

• Fall pictures are posted and ready to view. Students should have brought home a card with a school code and an individual keyword. The website is https://pa.gpix.photos. Once you are there, please enter 2171 for the school code. The keyword is your child's individual School ID (can be found in Skyward). If you no longer have the card that was brought home and need help locating your child's School ID, please call the office and Mrs. Pitzer would be happy to give that number to you.

• Reminders for school physicals, immunization, dental, and physical records were sent at the beginning of the year. Second reminders are going out in the coming week. The deadline for turning in the paperwork is today, October 1st. If your child has an appointment scheduled, please communicate that with our district nurse, Rita Yahnke. You can reach her by calling (815) 456-2325 (press 3 during the recording). Students will be excluded from school after October 15th if we do not have their updated records OR have not received any communication from parents/guardians regarding a scheduled appointment.

Please take time to review our COVID Protocols document. Here you will find specific information regarding the mitigations in place within our school environment, arrival/dismissal information, and other general information regarding our district's plan for returning to school.

District administrators and the district's nurse have been trained and are able to administer rapid COVID tests to students and staff. A signed waiver is needed in order to use this option. Please consider completing one and sending it to school with your student so we will have it on file in the event your student is symptomatic and you would like them tested.

Students will NOT be tested unless we have permission from a parent/guardian. If we have a waiver on file, the parent/guardian will still be notified if a test is administered to their child.
