PIZZA WITH THE PRINCIPAL - DEADLINE 5/23, NO EXCEPTIONS

PTA is partnering with Mr. Linville for our May Dine-out! Come join Mr. Linville for a live virtual pizza making experience! Our dine-out is with Z Pizza. See information below to purchase yours today!

Pick up: Curbside Drive-Up at school on Thursday, 5/26 3:45 - 4:45pm.

Pizza kits cost $15 each for regular pizza and $18 for gluten free. Z Pizza will donate 20% of the proceeds to IUSD Virtual Academy PTA!

Each kit will include pizza dough, sauce, cheese, and 2 toppings of choice during pick up based on availability. One kit will feed an average of 2 people.

SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE - FINAL SURVEY
We need your feedback!

PTA is continuing our participation in the National PTA School of Excellence program to grow our family-school partnerships and enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students in our community.

As part of the process, National PTA requests feedback from families, administrators, and teachers are tow points in the school year - the beginning and the end. We have used your responses from the first survey to implement an action plan for continuous school improvement. Thus far, our focus is on Digital Safety. We've shared information on how to be safe on different digital platforms (Family Guides on: gaming, social media, etc.), and partnered with school to continue the efforts on digital safety with Digital Citizen.

Now is the time for our second survey! We are proud of what we have accomplished so far, and kindly ask for your feedback once again. Your responses will not only help us show our improvements but will also provide us with more information as we continue to build upon our efforts to enhance family-school partnerships in the future.

Earlier this year, IUSD Virtual Academy PTA applied for School of Excellence for our school. Digital Safety is our focus area for this program. For the month of February, we featured Digital Safety Guides in our Newsletter and Website. We compiled the Parent's Guides on our website and they may be accessed by clicking here.

YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION

Yearbooks have arrived! They are available for pick up starting Tuesday, 5/25 during office hours 7:45am - 3:15pm. If you're on campus for your grade level goodbye's with your class this week or next week and would like to pick up your yearbook then, Mrs. Weiss will have a table outside for yearbook pick up. Please email us with any questions, info@ivapta.org.

PRIZES DISTRIBUTION - MOVEATHON PRIZES AND END OF YEAR MEMENTO

We will be distributing the Move-A-Thon prizes next week. Also, PTA is providing a year-end souvenir for all our students to start off their summer break! We will provide a Cooler Bag, Beach Ball, and Pen with Draco printed on each item.
