Thanksgiving is right around the corner! The Waller Staff would like to wish everyone a Very Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your time with Family!

There is NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, November 22nd through 24th in honor of Thanksgiving. We will see everyone on November 27th for a full week of school!

Also, there will not be a Waller Newsletter next week, this one will cover all events until December 1st.

Congratulations go out to Mrs. Linda DeBrabander who has been at Waller School helping kids since 1991!! Her last day of work will be Monday, November 27th. If you see her, please wish her well in her next adventure! We are sure that she is going to miss the Kids and Waller Staff dearly, along with helping everyone that crosses the street on Gardner and Randolph!

Vision Screenings will be held at Waller School for kids in grades Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 3 and Grade 5. These will be held during the school day on Tuesday, November 28th.

Waller 5th Graders are running a fundraiser to raise money for their End of the Year Class Trip! They are planning on going to Boundless Adventures Zipline and Ariel Park in Bristol, WI in the Spring. The kids are selling Kwik Trip Car Wash Cards - which are good for 5 Ultimate car washes - the cost of the card is $36. If you are interested in helping the 5th graders out, and would like to keep your car clean this winter, you can pre-order a Kwik Trip Card by providing your name, phone number and email address, you will also pre-pay with your choice of Cash, Check or Venmo to Waller PTO. The Cards will then be sent home with your 5th grader before our Holiday Break! Click on the link to fill out the Google form, and receive all of the information needed! Purchase a Kwik Trip Card!

Kids in grades 1 through 5 have brought home a form to sign up for Saturday Youth Basketball if they are interested! This fun program is run by the Burlington Community Education Dept. Be sure to take a look at the registration form if you are interested in having your child participate. It's a great way for your child to learn basketball skills, fundamentals, while also working on sportsmanship and teamwork! The program starts on December 9th and runs through February 17 (Feb. 24th if there is a Snow Day).

Please take a look at the upcoming Presentation flyer pictured below. It will take place at the Aurora Wellness Center on Wednesday, November 29th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

Pre-registration is necessary due to the capacity limits of the Wellness Center. If you are interested, please register with this Google Form.
