Show Me Multiliteracy Project
Congratulations to the educators below for receiving a Show Me Multiliteracy Scholarship! The Show Me MultiLiteracy project aims to improve classroom instruction for English Learners (ELs) by providing professional development activities to in-service educators using strengths-based approaches to meet high professional standards. Missouri State University partnered with Missouri school districts to deliver a comprehensive project that offers scholarships to selected in-service teacher leaders to earn the Missouri K-12 ELL endorsement, a 30-credit credential. The Missouri teaching credential can be earned with a master’s degree in English Language Teaching and Literacy Education.

Key Club Receives $500 Grant for the Blessing Boxes Project
Congratulations to the Monett High School Key Club for receiving a $500 Kiwanis Missouri/Arkansas District Grant for a community service Blessing Boxes project! Blessing boxes are small boxes located throughout the community. Each box is restocked in an ongoing manner with non-perishable foods and supplies. Anyone in need is able to acquire assistance by going to a blessing box and removing item(s) as needed. Several organizations have contributed to the ongoing supply of goods for multiple years. The entire amount will go toward purchasing food and supplies to stock each of the box locations within the community over the course of multi-months.
