Thankfulness
As you get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoy time with family and friends, don’t forget to count your blessings. If we really think about it, each of us has so much to be grateful for. Be sure to take time over Thanksgiving to make a list of the people and things you have that you are grateful for. It might be your health, home, clothes, food, school, parents, family, etc. Whatever makes your list, be sure to thank the people in your life who make what you are thankful for possible. If you really want to change and transform your life, start every day after Thanksgiving with this list and add to it over time. Study after study continues to show the many benefits of practicing gratitude and thankfulness. People who make gratitude and thankfulness a daily habit are happier, healthier, and less stressed. Think about it, it’s impossible to be stressed and thankful at the same time.
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Preschool Theater Play
The Preschool class invited their families to a Dinner Theater Play to see their version of Humpty Dumpty, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Hey Diddle Diddle, Jack and Jill, and Jack Be Nimble. The students have been learning about nursery rhymes and have spent the last few weeks practicing their roles to perform for an audience.
Way to go Preschool!
Fourth Grade Thanksgiving Balloon Parade
Each student in Mrs. Gebauer and Ms. Thompson's class wrote an informative or persuasive paragraph about the character they chose to explore. Then they were challenged to create the character with balloons and their imagination. Finally, the students paraded their creations through the hall for other students to enjoy. The parade was enjoyed by all!
Good work students and teachers!
