Join the parade!!!

Want to spread some Holiday cheer......bring smiles to children’s faces? Come join your fellow club members walking in the Scottish Christmas Walk in Old Town Alexandria at 11:00 on Saturday December 1st. Get in the spirit of the season. Do some gift shopping after the parade at the local merchants (many are dog friendly). All you need is a friendly beardie, maybe a pretty collar or ribbon on your dogs, and a smile on your face. Join Lynne Corn, Kathy Dimond, and Roger Orrock and their beardies!

You can make it a weekend away by arriving on Friday and staying at The Alexandrian, a Marriott hotel which allows dogs, located at 480 King Street. (You can call them at 855-516-1090 or book on line.) Enjoy a brunch and a short walk to the start of the parade. If you stay over Saturday night as well, you can walk down to the Potomac and watch the parade of lighted boats happening Saturday night. So come join us.
