Dear Cub Families,
Thank you for your support of our PTA and the PTA Holiday Store! It is appreciated! Also, thank you to our PTA for hosting the store!
Last week we completed the in-class recitals in music class, and our 4th and 5th grade Cubs performed for a school assembly and for parents. All of our students were amazing! Thank you to Ms. Sager for her work with our music program at Cub!
Parents and teachers are enjoying the snowball game in PE! It has been great seeing all the parents and family members joining and playing with students in PE!
On a personal note, I want to thank all the parents, students, and CRES staff for a wonderful almost first half of the school year! I wish each of our CRES families a wonderful holiday season!

Jingle Jangle Elf!
We have had a special elf, Jingle Jangle, who has been making appearances for the staff the last two weeks. Rumor has it that Jingle Jangle and a couple of his friends may make an appearance on the school roof Tuesday morning! Who knows?! Just in-case, tell your children to watch the roof at the front of the school Tuesday morning to see if Jingle Jangle and his friends appear!
CRES Six Day Specials Rotation
As you are aware, CRES is on a six day rotation for our specials classes. Each week we will share the upcoming days of the rotation with parents. Here are the rotations for the next two weeks:
- Monday, December 18 Day 3
- Tuesday, December 19 Day 4
- Winter Break December 20-January 2
- Wednesday, January 3 Day 5
- Thursday, January 4 Day 6
- Friday, January 7 Day 1
- Monday, January 10 Day 2
- Tuesday, January 11 Day 3
- Wednesday, January 12 Day 4
- Thursday, January 13 Day 5
- Friday, January 14 Day 6
Your child's teacher will share with you the specific 6 day specials rotation for their class (which day is art, music, PE, library, and technology).

Monday, December 18-SCA Spirit Day: Winter Character Day-Wear something that shows any winter character (can be holiday related, a snowman, etc.)
Tuesday, December 19-SCA Spirit Day: Polar Express Day-Wear comfy, appropriate :) pajamas!
Wednesday, December 20, 2023-Tuesday, January 2, 2024-No School for Students!
Wednesday, January 3, 2024-Students come back to school!
Friday, January 12, 2024-Lst Day of the 2nd Nine Weeks; Last Day of 2nd Semester
