As we enter the holiday season, we want to celebrate the staff, parents and community who are coming together to support students.

These first weeks have been focused on listening and learning more about this wonderful community through meetings with district staff and community leaders including the Mayor, Police Chief, Chamber of Commerce, and Sun City Rotary Club.

As we go forward into the next semester, additional opportunities are being planned to hear from stakeholders:

• Monthly Coffee Chats with the Superintendent. These are open to the entire community. The first one is Wednesday, January 27 at 8:30 a.m. at the Social Grounds
• A townhall to address thoughts shared through the needs assessment survey
• Student Ambassador Meetings
• Staff Roundtables
• Additional campus visits

Jarrell ISD is committed to listening to you. Gathering your input is both important and purposeful; Together, we will use your feedback to chart the course for continued greatness.

Jarrell ISD will be closed for winter break December 18, 2020 through January 1, 2021. During this two-week period, Jarrell ISD will not be collecting, tracing or reporting student and staff COVID cases.

Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) will be the point of contact for reporting all COVID-19 cases during school closures.

Beginning Tuesday, January 5, families can report positive cases to the district at 512-746-4859. A JISD nurse or staff member will be in contact with you for further information and direction when school reopens.
