It's time to Vote!
Our school district has a Construction Bond on the ballot for November 3. We encourage you to vote your whole ballot—make sure to turn it over and find Measure 36-205 on the backside, and vote for everything from the White House to the School House!
Even though schools aren’t in-person right now, we know the day will come when we are back. Bonds are a long-term strategy to keep our schools well-maintained and able to meet the needs of our students and prepare them to make contributions to our community. The State of Oregon does not give school districts funds for buildings. Bonds are the only way we can build and maintain our schools.
These bonds will allow the district to improve health and safety in our schools, update classrooms and learning environments, improve technology, provide needed maintenance, upgrade Career and Technical Education (CTE) to cutting edge facilities, renovate Edwards Elementary School, and replace Dundee Elementary School.
Every school will see improvements. Here at Ewing Young, we have specific things to be excited about improving which you can review here: https://newbergschoolbond.org/ewing-young-elementary-school/
For more information, check out https://newbergschoolbond.org, or see the attached info sheet. Please vote!

Ewing Young Bazaar 2020 Canceled
As we ended the school year last year with online learning, it was challenging to see the next school year's outcome. With distance learning in effect and the COVID regulations, EYST has made the difficult decision to cancel the Ewing Young Fall Bazaar this year. This choice genuinely saddens us; however, we made it with our vendors and community members' safety as a top priority. We hope you understand our decision, and we look forward to our 2021 bazaar next fall.
Stay safe, stay healthy and happy holidays from EYST.
