Finally we have some manageable weather to get outside and snow-shoe! With the harsh and bitter cold, we had to postpone having SNOW much fun outside and stick with indoor activity. We will start back up with our snow shoes on Tuesday the 23rd.
Reminder, students should have proper outdoor gear to be in the snow…
winter coat
snow pants
snow boots
hat
gloves
Students without snow gear will be given an alternative assignment on the black top.
In an effort to minimize the amount of things you need to worry about your child needing to bring to school every day, we will communicate the week before which classes we plan to have snow-shoe on which days.

March 1st - 5th: Read Across America and Dr. Seuss' Birthday Celebration
To celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday and Read Across America, we will be having Spirit Days all week inspired by Dr. Seuss books. Classrooms will be enjoying district employee guest readers throughout the week. On Tuesday, we will have an all school read-in from 2:50-3:20 in our own classrooms. Students can bring their favorite Dr. Seuss or other favorite books and a stuffed animal.
Book Drive for Children's Hospital ~ March 1st through 5th
A group of fourth grade students are starting a book drive for Children's Hospital. We are accepting donations of NEW books that would make kids smile (again, new books ONLY).
Our goal is to donate 250 books! If we accomplish this goal, the principals have agreed to have an All School Glow Party in our classrooms.
There will be collection bins outside the library by the butterfly wall, one box per grade level.
Muskego-Norway Schools Introduces the Stopfinder Bus Parent App
Muskego-Norway welcomes you to participate in the new Stopfinder app. This app will allow you to:
- View your student’s daily transportation assignments, including transfer trips and stops
- Securely share your student’s schedule with caregivers
- Send private messages to the Dairyland Group (Muskego-Norway’s transportation provider)
- Receive notifications and updates related to transportation
- Send real-time vehicle location notifications based on GeoAlert regions you create for your student. (Disclaimer: Please note that as you set up the GeoAlerts, you should choose a location that is close to your home. Setting a region too far out could trigger an alert that the bus has entered the zone you selected, however, the bus may be running the route through the neighborhood and may not be headed to your child’s pickup/dropoff location immediately. If you run into this issue, contact Julie Kelly right away.)
Please see the promotional flyer for details on the app, as well as a video tutorial for your reference.
You will receive a separate email from Transfinder, the software provider for Stopfinder, inviting you to subscribe to the service; there is no cost for this subscription. Please follow the instructions in the email to set up and begin using the app.
