2022-2023 Survey reminder!
Dear EICS Parents,
2022/23 EICS Survey
The survey will remain open until Friday , March 17. Last Day for your participation!

2022/23 Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) Survey
If you have a child in grade 7 or 10, you have also received a survey from Alberta Education through the mail as well. Please watch for this.
We would encourage you to complete both surveys. The AEA Parent survey has been extended to March 17th as there have been delays with mail outs for parent packages from Alberta Education.
Students in Grades 7 and 10 will also complete these surveys as well. These will be conducted at school facilitated by OLMP staff.

The EICS Board of Trustees approved the 2023/24 school year calendars at the February Board meeting. Both Camrose school calendars are attached below.

Grad booking site is up and running for graduates to book their appointments!

To book their appointment your grads will go to the website provided and select their school: Our Lady of Mount Pleasant and select their session : Cap and Gown Grad 12 ( 20min ), they will then select the date available : March 10th, 2023. They will follow the prompts after to book their appointment.
Attached is a grad flyer with a link on it for the graduates to book. The link is also provided below in this email.

HS Summer Job Opportunity
Junior Forest Ranger Applications are open - until April 1st.
This 7-week paid summer work experience exposes you to a wide variety of careers in forestry, wildfire, ecology, conservation and more! Be prepared to work and live outside for 7 weeks/
Learn skills such as First Aid, wildfire orientation, canoe, hand tools use, conflict resolution, etc. Great for anyone looking into environmental protection programs in the future.

CALM 20 is looking for volunteers willing to visit our class for 10-20 minutes, to speak about the following:
-Your personal career education path (apprenticeship, technical training, college, university or learning on the job, etc)
-Your personal employment pathway
-Roles/responsibilities of your job
-Opportunities for growth within the workplace
-Details of the job to consider (ie. challenges of the job)

Summer School through SILC
SILC is offering a variety of courses through online synchronous, asynchronous and live in-person learning options this summer.
Courses include: CALM, Philosophy, PE, Math Prep, Math 10C, 10-3, 20-1, 20-2, Science 10, Social 10-1/ 20-1/30-1 Bio 20/30, Chem 20/30 Physics 20/30, ELA 20-1/20-2/30-1 and 30-2.
