Christmas Wishes

As we end 2020 and all the uncertainty, I am optimistic that 2021 will be a better year for the all of us. As indicated below, our Christmas break is Dec. 19th - Jan. 1st and Learning@Home begins for our elementary students, with a continuation for our jr. high Jan. 4th - 8th. Back in school is set for Jan. 11th.


I wish you and your family all the best for the Christmas holidays. This is an opportunity to enjoy the simple little things that make life better.

Christmas concert

Miss King and her grade 3/4 class using 5 gallon buckets as drums practicing for our Christmas concert. The class drummed to Carol of the Bells by Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

An introductory exploratory lesson in Science for grade 1/2 to pique curiosity for our theme on our return to school in January.

3D Ornaments

Mr. Stoyles’ Jr. high Skills and Technology class took on the challenge of learning to design using our new 3d printers while learning remotely. These new printers were able to be purchased for our students thanks to the efforts of the NCS Fundraising Society. The students put their new skills to the task of designing and preparing Christmas ornaments that could be printed and painted during our Elementary school craft day. The Jr. students did a great job learning the new technology and the Elementary students did some lovely work with painting the new ornaments to give them that personalized touch. Even while Learning@home Niton Central Schools Jr. High classes are an important part of our school community.


We are Canadian! Hockey will prevail!

Elementary Learning@Home

During the week of Jan. 4th - 8th elementary students will be learning at home. Teachers have provided students with enrichment projects/review materials and will be available during school hours for Google meets and phone calls. Your child's teacher's email is below.
