Basketball Tryouts begin on Monday, 11/13/23
Attention: All seventh and eighth grade girls that are interested in trying out for the basketball team, tryouts will be held Monday, November 13th through the 15th. Seventh grade will be @7:00 am and eighth grade @4:15pm. In order to try out, you must have a physical uploaded in rank one.

We Believe In Youth
Mayor Dan Davis issued an official proclamation declaring the week of November 12th as "We Believe in Youth" week.
Several campuses will be celebrating "We Believe in Youth" Day On Wednesday, November 15th.
WE BELIEVE IN YOU(TH) week is a one-week, all out campaign to tell the young people of this region that WE (all of us) believe in them, their future and what they have to offer.
There will be a Mental Health/Suicide awareness event on Thursday Nov. 16th. All the information is on our website below.

Relentless Razorbacks Highlights
Our Razorback students and staff are doing great things in and outside the classroom.
Mr. Poats saves a life
On Monday, November 6th, Mr. Poats saved a student's life during the transition between 1st and 2nd period. A student was choking on a piece of candy and Mr. Poats realized the student was in distress and used the Heimlich maneuver to dislodge the candy.
Thank you Mr. Poats for your quick action and your daily care of our Razorback students.

“The Razorback Theater took their show Peter/Wendy by Jeremy Bloom to the Alvin ISD Jr. High UIL One Act Play Contest this past weekend. They took home 2nd place out of 8 schools as well as 4 individual awards.

On Thursday, November 9th, Manvel High School Project Lead the Way Engineering students and Technology Student Association Members presented STEM programs of study and competition clubs to our 8th grade students.
Car Rider Line
The campus has been piloting a 2 lane car rider line to help move the line faster. Thank you for your patience as we have implemented this process.
