
Fall Final Exam Exemptions

Parents and Students
Below is a list of expectations for how each student can meet the exemption criteria. Please start having those conversation with your child to ensure that they will have the first semester average at a 75. This is important for them to begin looking at as we have six weeks left in the Second Nine-Week grading period.
Exemption Criteria:
No more than three tardies (fall semester) in any period or five tardies (fall semester) for double-blocked classes for the period you want to exempt.
No more than three unexcused fall semester absences in any period or five unexcused fall semester absences for double-blocked classes for the period you want to exempt.
Must have a passing grade of at least a 75 for the semester.
Library/athletic/calculator or lunch fines must be paid by Tuesday, December 7.
Students are responsible for getting semester averages and teacher signatures for any class they wish to exempt.
Students are responsible for having a parent sign this form before turning it in. NOT VALID WITHOUT PARENT SIGNATURE.
Forms due December 10 by 2pm. Late forms will NOT forms accepted.
Students must have this form on file in order to exempt.
All make-up and missing assignments must be turned in by the end of the day Monday, December 6 to be eligible for an exemption in that class.
Breakfast and lunch will be served as normal for those who are on campus.
If a student must be on campus for the day, they will be either taking a final or studying for their finals. Testing environment must be maintained.
A student may leave after a final is complete if they have no other finals for the day. Must leave through the front office and transportation must be arranged prior.
Important
In order for your student to exempt on the dates that they are exempting you must complete and sign the section of the exemption form. If this section of the form is not signed, they will not be allowed to leave the building without you coming into the school and checking them out through the front office. - Full Day - Dismiss at 4pm
December 13 RED Day - Review for Core Class - Elective Exams
- Full Day - Dismiss at 4pm
December 14 BLACK Day - Review for Core Red Day - Elective Exams
- Full Day - Dismiss at 4pm
December 15 RED Day - Core Exams
- Full Day - Dismiss at 4pm - unless you exempted classes
December 16 BLACK Day - Core Exams
- Full Day - Dismiss at 4pm - unless you exempted classes
December 17 RED DAY - Early Release - 12:45 p.m. Make-up Exams
- If all exams are taken or exempted, this is an exemption day
