Mission Statement
A quality Fine Arts education is essential to a well-rounded education for every child. Students that participate in the Arts are able to explore their passions and develop the creativity that is vital to every student's growth. Fine Arts teachers in Little Elm ISD are committed to the district's vision to Engage, Equip, and Empower each student to realize their full potential.
Let's promote LEISD Fine Arts on Social Media!
A Note from Mr. Felice
As we get into some of the busiest weeks of the year with testing and performances / contests, I want to remind each of you to take some time for yourselves. Your good health and mental state are essential to a successful classroom. I know that all of you are passionate about what you do and want your students to be very successful. I can't wait to see what you accomplish this Spring with UIL, VASE, and other regional and state level events.
As we look ahead to 2023-2024, it's never too early to start planning for the future. In what ways can we create more opportunities for our students? How can we better prepare our students for even greater successes next year? Finally, what are the things that hinder those greater opportunities and successes from taking place? If there is ever anything I can do to remove those barriers, make sure that you let me know. It is truly my desire to remove those things that hinder our ability as Fine Arts teachers to make those amazing things happen for our students.
Keep up the good fight! Spring Break is right around the corner! Whether you know it or not, each of you makes a BIG difference in the life of our students EVERY DAY! Don't forget that!

Zaara Nausheen was nominated by Mrs. Caitlin Hale, the Music teacher at Prestwick Elementary School. Mrs. Hale had this to say about Zaara:
"Zaara always gives her best effort at any activity we do in music class. I can always count on her to do the right thing. She is also part of our after school instrument ensemble, Treble Makers. Zaara rises to any challenge no matter how difficult our music is, and always has a great attitude no matter what!"
"Over the past few years, Tank has discovered his love for music and a social network of friends and teachers. He has found his place as a role model in school and at home. Tank is selfless and a great student. He has also helped his brothers by getting them involved with choir and other outside activities. I am very proud of the young man he is becoming. "
Mr. Brandon Jarrett is an Art teacher at Strike Middle School. Here is a little information about Mr. Jarrett:
"As a practicing sculpture artist myself, my goal is for students to learn and refine techniques through various artistic media, while discovering or reaffirming what inspires and motivates them to be successful and happy in life. We cover and practice the elements and principles of art, but I personally urge the children to use expression and self-reflection as a guiding way of explaining what art truly is. I graduated from The University of North Texas in 2012 w/ a B.F.A. in sculpture and this is my 9th year teaching . I've participated in and won art shows around the Dallas metroplex as a member of the Texas sculpture association. I'm blessed to have my lovely wife Andrea by my side along with two wonderful sons (11 and 5), and a beautiful toddler daughter. We have a talented red-heeler doggy named Kalisto and a fish tank full of fresh water fish! I'm my parents oldest of three children and am proud to say we visit Me-maw, Pa-paw and Gi-gi and Apa every Sunday. I love my 90's rock music , playing the drums, shooting hoops and collecting old action figures. I'm a HUGE COWBOYS , MAVERICKS, RANGERS and STARS fan and am still very much a child at heart."
Mr. Jarrett, we are glad to have you as a part of our LEISD Fine Arts team and recognize you as our Teacher of the Month!

In an effort to provide safety and security for all students in LEISD, the district requires that parent volunteers complete an annual background check, due after July 1st of each year. The application used for the check is called AppGarden. The link is provided below. Should a volunteer need to provide fingerprinting, the district will notify the applicant with instructions on how to complete the background process.
THANK YOU for being willing to volunteer of your free time for the students in Little Elm ISD!
