The Edge
In this edition of the Edge, we take a look at scholarships available to Ed Tech students, student competition, and the Careers in Education and Health Science students team up to teach the preschool kids about dental hygiene. The health classes at Ed-Tech tell us about their stuffed animal drive to help young children. We hear from students and how their current sports seasons are going. Finally, we introduce a new segment called “Fill Up With Philip.”

Varsity Boys Basketball

The boys played their last home game on February 24. They ended up losing, but the gym was loud, and the game was intense. Let's look at the numbers the boys put up in the contest against Deckerville.
Jacob Burgess led the Cardinals with 22 points and 4 assists, followed by Merrick Maris with 17 points, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 6 boards. Sonny Coscione had 10 points and Dylan Ledford contributed with 8 points. Zack Lemke had 2 points, 8 boards, and 2 assists.
After the game, the coach said, "We played very poorly in the first half. However, we came back and played hard in the second half and got within 4 a couple of times." The Cardinals will play their last game of the regular season on Tuesday. Good luck to the boys. Go Cardinals!
