FAQ
Q: Can I create a template for a newsletter?
A: Yes! You can create a template and then duplicate it every week. This way, you can continue making changes in one newsletter but they won't affect the other duplicates.
Q: Do changes in the duplicate affect the original newsletter?
A: No. Each newsletter is unique and has its own URL address. This means that if you make changes in one newsletter, it will not affect any of your other newsletters.
Q: How can I save a previous newsletter before updating it to create a new one?
A: Seeing as we currently do not offer a feature that will allow you to access your revisions history, we recommend duplicating a newsletter and then editing the duplicate. This way, you still have access to the original newsletter while being able to make changes to the duplicate.
Q: Can I duplicate a section of the newsletter?
A: Yes! To learn how to duplicate content, please click here.
Q: I am trying to duplicate my newsletter, but I am not seeing the popup. What should I do?
A: The problem might be due to your browser extensions blocking the popup.
We first recommend trying to open your Smore account in an Incognito window and then trying to duplicate a newsletter from there.
If duplicating from incognito works, try disabling all of the extensions you have on your regular browser and then try to duplicate the newsletter again.
Here are instructions on how to disable an extension:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- On the right-hand side of your browser, you will see 3 dots, click them, and then click More Tools.
- Then click Extensions.
- You can then either disable the extensions by clicking on the toggle or click "remove."
If disabling your browser extensions does not resolve the issue, please reach out to Support@smore.com.
