Mask Requirement Update

Caldwell Families,
We want to provide you with a mask requirement update.
The following schools have a mask requirement in place:
Jefferson Middle School - at least until Tuesday, January 25, 2022
Van Buren Elementary - at least until Wednesday, January 26, 2022
Washington Elementary - at least until Wednesday, January 26, 2022
Wilson Elementary - at least until Wednesday, January 26, 2022
As we continue to closely monitor the level of staff and student absences and the level of COVID-19 positive cases within our schools, we will require masks for all students and staff at least through Monday, January 24, 2022. The Caldwell School District Board of Trustees will hold a Special meeting on Monday. They will discuss extending the mask requirement.
The Special Board Meeting will be live-streamed beginning at 6 pm and will be held in the Caldwell High School library. The public is welcome to attend the meeting. You can also watch it live on the Caldwell School District Youtube page. A link will also be posted on the CSD Facebook page and District website.
Our goal is to keep school open and students attending every day. We encourage our families to support this goal to help reduce the spread of the virus in our schools. A notification of the Board’s decision will be sent out following their meeting.
