Guidance News
Scholarship applications are filling our bin! Make sure to check out the 2023 Scholarship Google Classroom to see what is available or have your senior swing by the Guidance Office to browse the scholarship opportunities. Also, for the Seniors going to college, we have uploaded Mid-Year grades to Common App.
Counselor’s have been meeting with students to go over course selections, which will be done during February break. We will also be meeting with each grade to show how to select courses online.
Shout out to the 117 students that will be taking (in total) 204 AP exams in May! There are a couple of benefits to taking AP courses: a bump in GPA as well as receiving possible college credit. Feel free to reach out to your student’s counselor to find out more.
We are hosting Career Fair Day on March 15. Any parent/guardian that is willing to come talk to seniors about their respective profession please contact Paul Goulet- pgoulet@wbridgewater.com. We are looking at all careers to give our students a variety of opportunities that await them.
If there are any alumni who would be willing to come in to talk to seniors about what life is like post high school WE NEED YOU. Please contact Ms. Wilder - awilder@wbridgewater.com

Take a Peek - Lots of AWESOME things are happening!
TV Production
Our daily morning show has a new look! Thanks to the financial support of the Cable Advisory Committee, we received a new anchor desk. This desk is very flexible incorporating multiple tops and bases. We’ll be able to incorporate the new look into our in-class productions and cable access will use it for their after-hours productions. It’s a win-win!
Social Studies
ELA
Mrs. Mischley’s Senior English classes are learning about sonnets and how to analyze them. They will work their magic by translating their favorite songs into Old English and hitting the Karaoke mic! It’s a Medieval American Idol at WB!
Physical Education
Ms. DeCastro and Mr. Antonio’s 8th grade Phys Ed classes just finished their 3-way Omnikin Volleyball unit. The students had a fun time playing and they demonstrated excellent teamwork.
High School PE classes have started the Pickleball Unit. They are working towards the Pickleball Tournament of Champions! With the reigning Pickleball Champion graduating last year we are guaranteed to have a new champion this year!
SAT PREP
Juniors in SAT 11 just began their first practice tests. Throughout the semester they will be striving to increase their scores as they prepare to apply to colleges.

A Message from Ann Marie Grinder, Food Service Director
Greetings from the MSHS Wildcat Café!
Just a reminder that both breakfast and lunch are free this school year! The WB Food Services link has more info and menus.
Each student is offered 1 free breakfast and 1 free lunch per day. Extra entrées are $2.00 and additional a la carte items such as bottled water, cookies, crackers and ice cream can also be purchased but a student must have money on their lunch account for these extras. All items served meet strict state and federal nutrition standards. Money can be added to a student’s account two ways:
· Cash or a check can be brought to the cashier at arrival or towards the end of a meal. To keep the line moving as quickly as possible, we no longer accept money in the line.
· Electronic payments using MySchoolBucks. You will need your student’s 10-digit student ID (SASID#) to set up an account. Even if you don’t add money using MySchoolBucks, it allows you to monitor cafeteria transactions until they graduate!
We are looking to hire additional cafeteria substitutes. Interested individuals can contact me at agrinder@wbridgewater.com or at (508)894-1220.
Thank you,
Ann Marie Grinder, Food Service Director
Update from Nurse Diedrichsen
A friendly reminder that all medications need to be kept in the nurse’s office. The only exception is for students in grades 9-12 who carry life saving medications such as inhalers and/or EpiPen's. All medications, even if carried with the student, need to have a medication order on file with the nurse. If you would like to authorize your student to take over the counter medications at the nurse's office you can access the STANDING ORDER MEDICATION & ANNUAL HEALTH UPDATE FORM on our Health Services page on the district website: https://www.wbridgewaterschools.org/page/health-services
