PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Pleasant Run Elementary Families:
I pray that everyone had a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving season. It is hard to believe that tomorrow is December 1st already.
Our students did a wonderful job today as we transitioned from in-person learning to our Virtual format. As we continue to move forward, please be sure to reach out with any additional questions you might have.
2nd quarter progress report grades are now available. Parents can access their child’s 2nd quarter progress report by logging into ParentVue. Click on the Report Card icon on the lower left hand side. When you click on the report card icon, you will be able to see their posted grade. If you would like to see more details about each grade for students in 5-12, click on the Grade Book icon on the left hand side. Please make sure you are looking at the second grading period. If you have any questions, you can contact your child’s teacher.
To provide device support for our K-12 families, we have expanded our hours at our Technology Help Desk located at Moorhead from 10:00 - 2:00, Monday through Friday. All iPad issues should be directed to Moorhead. Chromebook issues can be serviced at Moorhead from 10-2 or can be brought to any of the three intermediate middle schools during school hours. The high school Chromedesk will also be available during 1st and 2nd period on school days. Parents can also submit a help ticket through IncidentIQ support system by clicking on Technology under the Explore Tab and then select Parent Tech Info.
To support our students and families during the VIRTUAL window, we have created a centralized resource for information needed for a successful transition. It can be found by clicking Resources for Transition to VIRTUAL under the COVID-19 tab. If you do not find what you are looking for, please contact your child’s school. School buildings will remain open and staffed during the VIRTUAL window.
Due to transition to VIRTUAL, we are partnering with our food service vendor, Chartwells to provide meals to all students. Food distribution days will be Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Warren Central High School, Creston, Raymond Park, and Stonybrook Intermediate Middle Schools, and Moorhead Community Resource Center. Tuesday distributions will consist of 4 breakfast meals, 4 lunch meals, and 3 supper meals. Friday distributions will consist of 3 breakfast meals, 3 lunch meals, and 2 supper meals. Menus can be found on our website under Food Service and linked to this email. https://warren.nutrislice.com/menus-eula.
Our Moorhead Community Resource Center will remain open during the VIRTUAL window. If you have needs beyond what is being offered, you can either reach out to your child’s school or contact us through the outreach number, 317-608-0545 or email at MSDWarrenOutreach@warren.k12.in.us.
Warren is partnering with the Ransburg YMCA to provide our families with YMCA ELEARNING CARE at Brookview Elementary. Students, ages 5-14, are eligible to participate in this program from 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM during the VIRTUAL window. For more information including the cost, please see attached flier to this email or visit INDYMCA.org/YouthDevelopment.
Stay Strong, Stay Awesome, Stay Healthy!
