News and Info from HCS -- June 16, 2023
From Your Superintendent
Hornet Nation,
Over the course of this past school year, our community provided input and feedback around revisions to the dress code. We are so grateful for all of your time and talent, from answering surveys to participating in focus groups.
Below you will see the dress code that will be in effect for the 2023-2024 school year. Preceding the actual standards, we have included bullet points of areas of significant consensus that arose from the survey results and focus groups. In other words, most stakeholders were in alignment on the "big" issues.
You can count on our administrators to unpack the updated dress code with students at orientation, and throughout the year as needed. We will count on you to work with your child to come to school in attire that does not disregard the standards.
If you have any questions about the dress code prior to the start of school, please reach out to me.
In partnership and with Hornet Pride,
Judy
