SC PASS
Pontiac Families,
On May 16th and 17th fourth and fifth grade students will be administered the SC PASS state assessment in Science and Social Studies. The SC READY measures students’ performance on the South Carolina Academic Standards, with test results being used for school, district, and federal accountability purposes. The test is not timed and will be administered online. The testing schedule will be:
Tuesday, May 16th- SC PASS Science Test
Wednesday, May 17th- SC PASS Social Studies Test
In an effort to make testing go smoothly please ensure that your child gets a good night’s sleep each night prior to the test and is at school no later than 8:10 am each morning. Testing will take place during the first portion of each day. It is our expectation that each student does his/her personal best during testing.
Students who are absent during testing will be administered make-up tests up until June 1st for SC PASS. Please avoid scheduling any appointments and early dismissal on the days of testing.
If you have any questions regarding testing please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or Mrs. Gillespie the school testing coordinator.
Thank you and have a good evening!

Assistant Principal
