• Digital Award Ceremony May 21st at 11AM through Google Classroom
• End of year send off parade May 22nd 11-12.

On Wednesday, May 20th, parents are invited to come through our drive to pick up a bag of their students' items (including prepaid yearbooks) and to return any borrowed books you have at home. Families will drive in and follow our normal traffic pattern in two lines, just as if you were dropping off or picking up students on a normal school day.

We encourage our families to come through our drive between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM if at all possible. For those who are unable to come through during the morning, we will be available that evening from 6:00-7:30 PM.

For safety and efficiency, please follow these procedures:

• Hang your car tag on your mirror with your student's name showing.
• If you don't have a car tag, please write your student's name in marker on a large piece of paper.
• Pull up to the cross-walk where we normally hold the stop sign.
• Remain in your vehicle at all times.
• Open your trunk.
• Roll down your window to place books in the collection bin.
• Wait for school staff to place items in your trunk.

Students returning to BISD in the fall will keep their Chromebooks through the summer.

Every year our staff stands outside and waves HAPPY SUMMER BREAK to our students as they leave on our final day of school.

We are keeping the tradition alive this year with a Drive-Through Parade!

STEAM Academy at Stribling Elementary staff will be standing outside along our drive-through from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Friday, May 22. Please bring your Stribling Stars in your vehicle to wave at all your favorite teachers and staff!

For safety reasons, please ensure that you and your children remain in your vehicle at all times.

We've sure missed seeing our Stars in person, so we're looking forward to seeing everyone that day!

Students will not be responsible for formal lessons this week. They will have the following to complete.

• ELAR -20 minutes per day on Lexia
• Math- 5 lessons on Dreambox
• Social Studies- Google Slides lesson
• Science- Legends of Learning Activites

The 6th six weeks will run April 6 through May 22. Six weeks grades will be numeric. If students participate in online learning, they will earn a 100 in Skyward Family Access for the final 6th six weeks grading period. If they do not participate in online learning they will receive a 69 as their final six weeks grade.
