One of the biggest things you can do is REGISTER your child now for next year! After Spring Break, we will start running reports and sending individual reminders to parents to check in about registration status.

ALL STUDENTS (new and returning) need to register at https://www.austinisd.org/enroll

Austin ISD announced last week, that masks will be optional starting Monday. We will still have masks available on campus for children and adults. Teachers and staff started on Thursday getting students ready for this change with great conversations in class. Check out the guiding questions in the chart below to have conversations at home about how you are feeling as a family and how that will impact feelings going to school.

Check out all this great work they did to help our outdoor spaces continue to be a point of pride on campus! If you missed the chance to help this Saturday be on the lookout for future events to help maintain the rest of our outdoor space.

We have a new family at Zilker who recently moved to the country and could use some Zilker love and support! They were not able to bring a lot of their belongings with them so we have created a wish list with some items that could help them during this transition. Items new or used are appreciated!

These third grade artworks have been chosen to represent Zilker in the AISD Districtwide Art Exhibition. We are celebrating National Youth Art Month From March 1 - to March 31, 2022. We are so excited to host this art exhibit in person again this year!

The Zilker art studio is collecting used bubble wrap mailers to package students ceramics projects! If you have any from things like amazon packages please send them with your students!
