About this Event:
Difficult conversations are ones that no one wants to have. Often people avoid or put off these conversations to a point that emotions are heightened and we have stories in our minds about the other person. These conversations do not have to be this way! If we reframe the way we think about the conversation, the person, and the difficulty at hand, we can create a successful outcome.
In this training, the learner:
· Will understand what makes a conversation difficult.
· Will understand co-regulating during the conversation.
· Will learn to prepare for, start, and be in a difficult conversation.
Speaker:
Lindsay Kusy, LMHC, CCTP-11, CCFP, CAGCS

Transportation
Dismissal Change Effective 10-16-2023
In an effort to eliminate the wait time after school Hendricks will be reorganizing dismissal at the end of each day. Students going to the Boys/Girls Club after school, will be dismissed to buses at 2:18. They will be transported to the Club and the buses will return to HES. Once all of the buses arrive back at HES, the remaining students will load to go home. This will delay dismissal 5-10 minutes each day. This process will begin on Monday, October 16, 2023. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions! Thanks for understanding!
Please be sure to check Infofinder at http://www.infofinderi.com/ifi/?cid=SCS5QTZ7SAUC for your bus number and bus stop information.
We are asking that any requests for a transportation change be submitted to the office no later than 1:30 pm daily. A reminder that requests must be consistent throughout the week, meaning that the pick up and/or drop off address remains the same all week.
