Mr. Murillo Middle School Principal
I am writing this letter to say thank you for everything you have done for me over the last seven years.
As some o f you may have already heard, I have accepted the position of assistant superintendent at Alamosa School District.
Seven years ago, at the age of 32, I accepted the position of principal at Skoglund Middle School; little did I know that this community would change my life forever.
In the past seven years I have been able to get to know many of you that are reading this newsletter. You have opened your homes and hearts to me and for that I am forever grateful. Throughout the time I have been here I have really felt the support of the community.
You have given me suggestions and feedback and at times our disagreements have helped me make better decisions for all students. The biggest lessons I have learned from the Center community are those of grit, hard work, perseverance and love for community. As I get ready to leave my position as middle school principal please know that I am not leaving the community of Center. Yes, I will have another job, but I am always just a text away. If there is ever anything I can do for anyone reading this newsletter please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your love, support, and lifelong lessons Center.
