Cuesta Promise Field Trip
Seniors! The Cuesta Promise field trip is on November 16th this year. Visit the Cuesta campus and discover what all Cuesta has to offer you! Stop by the Career Center for a field trip form. The form must be returned by November 10th to be able to attend.

Check in on grades! First quarter is over! Please check in on grades and see your counselor if you need to make a plan if you are not doing well.
Juniors: Junior guidance talks are coming up soon. Each English class has been assigned a specific date: 10/31, 11/1, or 11/2.
California Colleges: California Colleges is an app in Clever and all AGHS students have an account. This app is a great tool for exploring college and career. Counselors are using this app with students in our guidance talks.
Seniors and Senior Parents: Please see our AGHS College App Info Sheet for important information about college applications. Reminder that counselors are available for help on college applications. Students can make an appointment with their counselor or take advantage of our drop in college app help sessions on the following Mondays from 2:00-4:00: October 23rd, October 30, November 6, and November 13.
Cuesta as a First Time Freshman for Fall of 2024: Click HERE to complete all the steps.
FAFSA: This year, the FAFSA application will be available as of December 2023. Click HERE to view the upcoming “Cash 4 College” workshops hosted by various schools in our region including at Arroyo Grande High School. Students and their parents can attend any of the workshops from any of the listed schools. The workshops are available with trained staff to help with completing the FAFSA application which is due March 2, 2024. If you wish to opt out from completing the FAFSA application, you must complete this FORM. NOTE: It is mandatory to submit a FAFSA/CADAA application in order to access the Cuesta Promise (free 2 years) for students planning to attend Cuesta in the Fall of 2024.
