Volleyball Season Wrap-up
October 10th - Pink-Out Game
October 17th - Senior Night
On October 21st - Sub State @St. Mary's
Volleyball season came to and end during the first round of Sub State played at St. Mary's. The team was defeated by Rossville in two sets. All-League selections will be held on November 8th at Valley Falls. Will release winners as soon as I possible.
Football Season Wrap-up
Football Team finished the regular season with a record of 4-4 and a District record of 2-2. The team finished in 3rd place in Districts and moved on into the play-offs on October 26th against Sabetha. Sabetha defeated ACCHS, which ended the season 4-5.
League Honors will be determined on November 8th at Valley Falls. Results will be released as soon as possible.

Marching Band Competition
On October 23rd the ACCHS Tiger Marching Band traveled to Holton to complete in a Marching Band Competition. This was the first time in many, many years the band has completed in a Marching Competition. The band performed music from the musical "Little Shop of Horrors". The band received a II "Excellent" rating for their performance.
On October 29th the Tiger Band also performed in the Atchison Halloween Parade.

Bill Snyder and Building Dedication
1st Annual Trunk or Treat
JSH held the 1st Annual Trunk or Treat event on October 31st. Each club, organization, and sports team was asked to create a trunk and hand out candy. We had almost 20 trunks involved in the event and handed out hundred and hundreds of pieces of candy to the many, many families that attend. Despite the cold night, everyone enjoyed the event.
Math Club - Emporia State University Competition
On October 18, members of the ACCHS Math Club traveled to Emporia State University to compete in the 50th annual Donald L. Bruyr Mathematics Day.
Placing in the top 50% were Evan Sinclair in the Geometry Individual Contest (8th place out of 50 students!), Brylyn Jolly in the Algebra Individual Contest, and the Geometry Team of Emma Speer, Avery Sutley, and Kaylee Foote.

Band Bingo Night
On Saturday, November 4th the High School Band put on a Bingo Night to help raise money for their upcoming trip to Branson, where the students will be performing at Silver Dollar City and attending various musical performances. The night was well attended, lots of fun was had, and some members walked away with some really great prizes.
Fall Sports Banquet
On November 3, 2023 ACCHS held the annual Fall Sports Banquet to honor our athletes for the sports of Cross Country, Volleyball, and Football. Letter winners were announced and participants in each sport were also announced. 2022-2023 NEKL League Academic Awards were also awarded this evening. This award is given to any students that has participated in a NEKL activity and is in the top 5 of their class, academically.
