Principal's Message
Good Evening Yowell Families,
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! If you pause to think of the progress your child has made not only this year but over the course of their education, it's astounding. We need to pause and thank our wonderful teachers and staff. They pour and pour into our students taking time to plan engaging lessons and deliver those throughout the day which at times leaves the grading to the evenings and weekends. I am proud of the education the students at Yowell receive, without our dedicated teachers it would be impossible.
If your child was invited to Summer Academy please return the form or fill out the on-line form. We have to submit the names to transportation this Friday.
Our students in grades 3-5 will take SOLs this week. Please be mindful of early dismissals or tardies on testing days for these students. If your child has an appointment please make sure to let your child's teacher know.
Be sure to fill out the CCPS parent survey to share your voice about Yowell and CCPS.

Transportation: Morning update document
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
