A note from Ms. Walsh
Happy final Friday Mountain View! It is hard to believe that we are already at the end of the year. In taking the time to reflect, we have addressed each of the 5 Core SEL Competencies throughout the year in Advisory Lessons: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Responsible Decision Making, Relationship Skills, and Social Awareness. The 5th Grade took a deep dive into Bullying Prevention and learned about Building Relationships, Normal Conflict vs.Bullying, Roles we Play, and how to Take Action. We all had a lot of fun with Door Decorating Contests, games, challenges, and activities. I’m looking forward to more fun and learning experiences in Advisory next year.
