Region 9 Elementary Teacher of the Year

Addie Enlow was named Region 9 Teacher of the Year and will represent Region 9 and Bowie ISD at the state level this fall. This is an outstanding honor, where she was selected as the winner amongst all the other Elementary Teacher of the Year nominees in Region 9. We are blessed to have her enthusiasm, leadership, and passion for education at Bowie ISD.

Beginning of the Year Universal Screeners

Throughout the coming weeks, all K-8 students will be taking the NWEA MAP screener in Reading and Math. Ever wondered what these Universal Screeners are for? Take a look at this video. You will receive the results for your child at parent-teacher conferences on October 6. Mark your calendars for these important meetings.

Welcome New Teachers

BISD has added excellent educators to our staff rosters this year. They have been in trainings for over a week learning how BISD works, processes, programs, and expectations. It is going to be a great 23-24 school year.
