TONIGHT!

TONIGHT, public informational meetings regarding the proposed new high school on in the Blair Oaks Elementary School Gymnasium. It will begin at 6:00 PM. You are encouraged to come learn more about Proposition 3 (The Building) and Proposition 4 (The People). The election will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. These propositions will shape the future of the comprehensive learning environment of Blair Oaks for years to come.

2019 Sports Camps

Blair Oaks welcomes students of all ability levels in our camps. Everyone will be grouped by age/grade and skill in respective sports. We offer a balanced program of fundamentals instruction, sport strategy and game competition. To enroll, follow steps below.

Print sports camp selection form
Check out our detailed list of activities and find the camp that is right for your child. Enrollment is based on grade your child will enter in the fall of 2019.
Enroll for camps via the Google registration form
Fully complete the Google registration form. The form is designed to enroll one student; families with multiple children must complete a Google form for each child. To help coaches finalize t-shirt orders, please register ASAP.
Mail, deliver, or send to school the selection form with payment
We prefer you submit payment at the time of application; all accounts are due on the first day of camp. One sports camp selection form with payment may be submitted for all members of a family.

2019 Summer School

Blair Oaks High School is excited to offer the following summer school classes during the May 29 - June 27 sessions.

Physical Education: for incoming 9th as well as 10th and 11th graders, 1/2 PE credit earned, students will develop a life-long interest in sports and leisure-time activities

Driver's Education is available to students who are 15 years of age (or older) by June 15, 2019. The course requires 30 classroom hours of study over a 5-day period plus 18 driving hours scheduled during the summer months. District students who submit the registration form and class fee will receive priority placement through April 12th.

A+ Program: for incoming juniors and seniors, requires 50 hours of tutoring. This can be completed in one full summer school session.The student must complete one full session even if hours are complete. (There are more than 50 hours in 1 session.) The student cannot leave for camps and/or practices.

Come Join Dance Team

Blair Oaks Dance Team invites you to come join the dance team. Learn the skills you will want for try outs. Find out if dance is for you.

When: Tuesdays, March 19, March 26, and April 2nd

Time: 3:15 - 4:15 p.m.

Where: Meet in the high school cafeteria

State Tech's Open House - March 30th

DON’T MISS STATE TECH’S OPEN HOUSE!! On Saturday, March 30th, you will have the opportunity to visit State Technical College of Missouri, meet faculty, and explore campus during their Open House event. Find out why State Tech is considered “The Employers Choice” for advanced and emerging technical education. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to RSVP for planning purposes. Check-in will be from 8-8:45 a.m. in the Activity Center, and the event will officially kick off at 9:00 a.m. The event is expected to be over around 2:00 p.m. See you at STATE TECH!

End-of-Course Exams

The Missouri Assessment Program assesses students' progress toward the Missouri Learning Standards. All students are required to participate in EOC assessments for accountability purposes. We wanted to share our end-of-course exam schedule so you could mark your calendar to be sure your student is present on the following dates.

2019-2020 School Calendar

The Blair Oaks School Board has approved the 2019-2020 school calendar. The first day of classes in the fall is Thursday, August 15th.

Parking & Locker Sign-Up coming soon!

Students will be signing up for parking permits and school lockers during the month of April. To participate in the sign-up, school lunch accounts and library fees or book fees must be current. Lunch balances may be checked via the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If your child has any questions about their library account, they are welcome to visit the library during the school day.
