Campus notes
Today, students from 2nd grade French did a wonderful job reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Click here to watch the video clip. The next Community Circle will also take place this Friday.
Last week, players and cheerleaders from Lakeside High Football Team visited LC to kick off their Homecoming. One of the teammates is a GLOBE Alumni, Zakariya Farih, 10th grade, French Language Track. He can be seen reading to Madam Hibbo's Kindergarten class.
This year's trip to Rock Eagle was outstanding. The students represented GLOBE beautifully, everyone had a great time and the weather was perfect. Thank you to our GLOBE families for your help in making the trip go smoothly. We would also like to thank our wonderful staff for their hard work and for making the trip so joyful and memorable.
Important safety notice for UC families
Please do not use Sunset Dr. near Upper Campus to pick up your 'walker' student(s). It is creating a huge safety issue with cars turning in and out of that street. The neighborhood is extremely unhappy with the current situation and we must work together to ensure drop off and pick up goes safely and smoothly at UC. Please use a different location and be considerate of our neighbors. We highly recommend using the UC carpool.Extended Care Program
A reminder that only those students who are enrolled in GLOBE's Before Care Program will be allowed to enter the school building before 7:30am (when drop-off begins). Please visit the school website for further information.
School pictures are ready!
To view and order, visit the Jostens website, here. Please note that you will require your Infinite Campus Unique Student ID to locate your child's photo. If you do not know your ID, please wait for an email that will be sent later this week that will have a direct link to your photo(s).

YMCA girls soccer teams seal their first wins!
On Saturday in the Metro YMCA League, the ICS-GLOBE U12 team beat Dunwoody Baptist Church 5-1. On Sunday afternoon in the State Metro league, GLOBE U14 traveled to Henderson Park where they won 4-0 against TYSA. Both teams play at Avondale Dunaire Park this Saturday in back-to-back games, so if you’re in the area, they would love to see some support.
