NRHS Student Recognized by NY Times
In the fall of 2023, the New York Times offered their 2nd annual “100 Word Narrative” Contest to teenagers throughout the US. Almost 13,000 young people took on the challenge of writing about a meaningful life moment in only 100 words.
We are proud to announce that sophomore Katerina Davis received honorable mention with her memoir “By Kat, I Mean by Katerina.” In her short memoir, Katerina explores the connection between a person’s name and their identity and how we often give up a piece of ourselves in order to appease the people around us.
Congratulations, Katerina!!
Nashoba Regional High School is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 2023 AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award! This award recognizes that we have furthered women’s access to AP Computer Science Principles (CPS), as well as our work towards equal gender representation during the 2022-2023 school year. Excitingly, we are one of only 834 schools being recognized for achieving this result in AP Computer Science Principles. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both our teachers and students.
Music Accolades!
We would like to Congratulate Senior Gianna Poulin for earning a spot in the Massachusetts All-State Music Festival Honors Choir. Gia will now rehearse with some of the best singers in Massachusetts and present a concert, along with the other All-State honors ensembles, at Symphony Hall on Saturday, March 23rd.
We would also like to congratulate Senior, Yi Cheng, Juniors: Peyton Mora Zuffante, Amalia Nagale, Eleanor Stanton, and Sophomore Theo Kramer for their eligibility to audition for the MA All-State Ensembles. These students were in the top 20% of central MA during the Districts Competition.
Sophomore Class Fundraiser
Dear Nashoba Community,
Please support the NRHS Class of 2026! They are running a Sophomore class fundraiser through See's Candies to benefit the Class of 2026 at Nashoba Regional High School.
This fundraiser is for Valentine's Day and will run through January 26th. These boxes make a sweet treat for a college student away at school or a surprise for a friend or spouse - we hope you can support our cause and hopefully help to lower our student's cost to attend Prom next year!
Thank you!
Best,
Maura Bailey
