Student Before & After School Procedures
- Students may enter the building for breakfast at 7:30 am through Door G.
- Students who are not eating breakfast will enter the building through their assigned playground door and head to their classroom at 7:45 (Signs will be posted on the playground doors).
- The playground equipment is not open before school.
Dismissal
- Students will be dismissed at staggered times:
- 2:40 pm: Daycare Vans and Buses
- 2:45 pm: Walkers, Parent pick-up, Community Learning Center (CLC)
- Playground equipment is not supervised by staff after school as they are focusing on supervising dismissal. Children using the playground equipment must have a parent/guardian present on the playground observing. Thank you in advance for your help with this.
Parent/Guardian Drop Off and Pickup Expectations
Drop Off
- Parent/Guardian vehicles can drop off from the school parking lot or off S Mable Ave.
- Parent/Guardian vehicles are expected to leave as soon as students enter the fence. This will allow space for other parents to drop off.
- Parent/Guardians should NOT leave their vehicle while in either of the drop off locations. Those wishing to walk and stand with their child need to park in a different location (parking lot or street parking).
- Please do not drop your children off prior to 7:45 unless they are eating breakfast. Supervision will not be available prior to this time. Students on the playground prior to 7:45 will be sent inside to the breakfast room.
- We strongly encourage you to pick your child up as close to the 2:45 dismissal time as possible.
- Students waiting for Parent/Guardian pickup have two locations to wait for their ride after school: inside the gate near the main office (door A) and inside the gate near the red playground (door E).
- Parent/Guardians should NOT leave their vehicle while in either of the pickup locations. Those wishing to leave their car as they wait need to park in a different location (parking lot or street parking).
- Parent/Guardian vehicles are expected to leave as soon as students enter the vehicle. This will allow space for other parents to pickup.
- Cars waiting in the parking lot are expected to be in the right lane to allow space for those driving to pass in the left lane. The entrance to the parking lot is located on S Highland Ave and the exit is on S Mable Ave.
- Students must be picked up by 3:00pm. Students not picked up by 3:00 pm will be sent to the office.

Parents are encouraged to register now to set your student(s) up for success this school year!
Tutor Tracks connects students with online tutors over a seven-week period to focus on Reading, Grammar or Math. With tutor-led lessons, these sessions support what’s already being taught in the classroom, providing extra practice and repetition to reinforce foundations of learning.
