Lata says of her work - “I bring a contemporary worldview to my art and practice. This approach transcends boundaries of language, ethnicity and culture. I see myself as a contemporary artist whose art takes inspiration from the world I live in. As an artist, I am a composite of many cultural influences and imprints and my vision for the company is therefore derived from re-contextualizing bharatanatyam as an art form for today.
