Today marks the midterm of trimester 3. We have updated grades and entered final grades for Viking Time session 5. Please find time to sit down with your child(ren) over the weekend and review their grades with them. Most of you have already purchased a yearbook durning registration, but if you are a new student or have not purchased a yearbook there is still time. Last day to bring in money is Monday April 17th. You can bring $20 cash, check or if it is listed on RevTrack you can pay that way. If it is not listed that means you have already purchased this. If you cant remember or have a question, please email Mrs. Beckwith, kbeckwith@saltcreek48.org.

The 7th grade students took a field trip to the Technology Center of DuPage on Wednesday. While there, the students had the opportunity to hear about a variety of career paths and some of the programs offered at TCD when they are in high school.

Mrs. Zoske and Mrs. Jordan both received recognition as Extraordinary Staff Members! They are well deserved rewards as Mrs. Zoske and Mrs. Jordan care deeply about their students, the school, and other staff members. This shines through every day as they work hard for the success of all.

Please register for next year on Skyward, if you have not already done so. We have made it all online this year. No packets will be mailed home. If you need any assistance with your skyward password please contact Mrs. Beckwith in the office for help. This year we are using a new program to verify your residency. If there is a problem or discrepancy that comes up, you will be contacted by your school office in July. We have worked hard to make this process easy and seamless.

Mornings are busy in the school office. Please ensure that students are ON TIME and if they are going to be absent are called into school with a reason. Students who are NOT CALLED IN TO SCHOOL are UNEXCUSED. Doors close in the back of the building at 7:43am, if students come into door 1 they are considered tardy to school. Please email Mrs. Beckwith or call the attendance line and leave a message with a reason when your child is absent.

NO MORE E-PAY! We have rolled out a new way to pay for lunches, school fees and activity fees for students. You can sign up here https://saltcreek48.revtrak.net/. Or you can go to your parent portal in skyward, click on the fee payment tile, then in the far right hand top corner click on the "make online payments" button. This will take you to Revtrak. Make sure to sign up before you try to make payment. Once you can sign in, click the Make a Payment button in the middle of the page. This new service will streamline the payments so you can make a payment or set up recurring payments. This is directly connected to Skyward so you see the money immediately go to your child's account. If you have any questions please email or call your school office.

The DuPage County “Smile Squad” is coming to Albright Middle School on Friday, April 28th! The Smile Squad is a fully equipped dental truck that provides free dental services to all students, including a cleaning and sealants if needed. If your child participates, the Smile Squad will provide proof of an exam that meets the Illinois State school requirements. If you are interested in your child participating, please email msimmons@saltcreek48.org or click below.

As a reminder, all 6th graders and any new/transfer students are required to have a dental examination on file by May 15th, 2023. The dental exam must be dated between November 15th, 2021 - May 15th, 2023. The link to the Illinois Dental Exam form is below. It is also available on our school website.
