Happy Saturday Pirate Families-

It was a great week at Swansboro High School! We hosted senior pictures, robotics, culinary and soccer camps. Don't worry if your senior missed pictures, we will hold make-ups in the fall once school starts. We had exciting news this week as we partnered with Coastal Carolina Community College to offer 2 classes on our campus this fall. The classes will be offered to 11th and 12th grade students and they must have an unweighted GPA of 2.8 to enroll. Students who are interested should complete the online link. Parents of rising freshman should be on the lookout for your invite to our Freshman Orientation on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 4:30-7:30 pm. New students who are in grades 10th-12th are also invited to join us for an orientation on August 8, 2019 from 2:30-3:30 pm.

All parents should mark their calendars for our open house on Friday, August 23, 2019. We will offer 2 sessions, one from 12-1 pm and another from 4-6 pm. We will host our first home football game at 7 pm and our hope is that all families will stay and join us to cheer for our Pirates as they take on the Dixon Bulldogs.

Student Athletic Pass

Parents are also reminded to start saving for the student athletic pass for the 19/20 school year. This deal is too good to pass up! Students can purchase an annual pass for $120 that gains them entry into all home games and they receive a free hot dog and drink at each game if the sport has a concession stand. This is a savings of over $545.00. We will also offer individual season passes at a rate of $50 (fall, winter or spring). 100% of the proceeds from student passes will go towards updating facilities such as fields, the track, etc.
