Event Information

Austin Family Movie Night

We will be having a free family night event on Friday, April 22nd at Austin Elementary. Beginning at 5:00PM families are welcome to come enjoy the new playground our WISD Board of Trustees provided for our campus. Starting at 6:00PM we will be showing "Coco" in the cafeteria. You can click the link below to see the trailer. We will also be providing popcorn during the movie. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a movie night with your family and ours! We hope to see you there!

STAAR Testing April 10th and 11th

4th and 5th Grade students will take the STAAR test next week.

April 10th- 4th Grade Writing

April 10th- 5th Grade Math

April 11th- 5th Grade Reading

Please try to have students here on time at 7:50AM and encourage them to get a full nights rest and eat a healthy breakfast. We do ask students leave technology at home for those days, since they are not permitted in testing room. We do ask parents/guardians do not come eat lunch with 4th or 5th grade students on this day. Thank you for your support. Our students have worked hard all year and we know they will do their very best!

Need to Know


  • For the safety of our students, there will be no early pick-ups between 3:00-3:20pm.
  • Doors open in the morning at 7:00am and lock at 7:50am.
