Hello! We would like to notify you of the District's annual Wellness Committee Meeting. This committee’s responsibilities include: creating ways to educate students on health, nutrition, and wellness, to update our current policy to reflect the goals of the district, and to ensure we are doing all we can to improve the health of our community and students. We welcome participation from parents and students. Our meeting is scheduled on Thursday March 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in Maxwell. We would love any parents or students to give us your thoughts and ideas. If you have information you would like to contribute but are unable to attend the meeting, or if you have any questions, please contact the District Nurse. Thank you!

Attention Seniors:

There will be a Senior class photo on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 during Spartan Time (10:34) out on the track. We would like for everyone to look nice for the picture (You do not need to be dressed up). We will meet in the lobby at the start of Spartan Time. If the weather is bad we will try to take the picture the following Wednesday, March 29th. If you have any questions please let Mrs. Coffelt know.

When school gets out, students need to be out of the building by 3:20 (2:00 early out days) unless they are in an activity. Only when they are under the supervision of an employee or an extracurricular activity sponsor.

The American Legion Auxiliary Merit Award Application - Due March 30, 2023

Jonathan Wright Scholarship - Due April 22, 2023 Applications are due in the guidance office by the due date.

• Senior Quote (If not appropriate, it will not be used. Also please include the author of the quote)

The Bill and Gene Atwood Memorial Scholarship Educational Gift - Due April 14th, 2023

Altrusa of Ames - High School Service Award Application

Altrusa of Ames will be giving awards of $500.00 to graduating seniors from Story County High Schools again this year. Awards will be given to individuals who have demonstrated an active and dedicated involvement to service projects in their school and community during their high school years.

Applications must be completed in this computer format.

Please preview a local scholarship opportunity. The Collins-Maxwell Mother's Club Education Award Application is now available.

This application is to be typed in full and submitted to the counselor by Friday, April 21, 2023 at

3:30 pm. No late applications will be accepted. Reminder: do not write your name on each page. Please make a copy before you start typing. Submit to Mrs. Stuber. She will print them and give them to the Club.

Please do not attach your resume to the application; we only want the questions answered thoroughly in the space that is provided.

2023 COLLINS-MAXWELL MOTHERS CLUB EDUCATION AW...

The MS/HS building doors DO NOT open until 7:30am. Students will not be allowed to enter the building before then. If student's arrive before 7:30am, they will have to wait outside until doors are unlocked. (unless let in by coach/sponsor for practice or meeting)
