Volleyball
This week has been an amazing one for our girl’s volleyball team. This Tuesday was one of the best games the varsity team has ever played. Our lady panthers took home a 3-1 win against an amazing team, Williamson, allowing them to qualify for districts on Saturday. Varsity achieved a total of 44 kills, led by junior, Emma Neuber, who had 16 kills. Alexis Corter had a wonderful night on the net, getting a total of 10 kills and 7 blocks. Gabby Susanj had a profusion of assists, which added up to 36 by the end of the game. Abby O’Conner added 10 kills, and Toni Herb added 8. Our Libero, Kiarra Delancey, had an astounding 45 digs. Moving to our junior varsity team, there was a tough loss to the Williamson team, who went their season undefeated. Abby Keeney had 3 assists, and Adrian Chobot had 7 digs. Kamryn Edsell also had 3 kills and 2 aces. Our final regular season game was on Thursday, October 28th. Troy suffered a tough loss against our NEB teams, losing 3-0. Junior Varsity lost in 3 sets. The win against Troy sets them up to play against Athens in districts Saturday. If the girls win, they will play North Penn Liberty in the second round of districts.
