News for You:
- Summer Latchkey Program: Latchkey will be opening 50 spots this year for a summer latchkey program. For students aged 5-12 years old. If you are interested, please contact the elementary office. We are filling up fast, so please get your paperwork in ASAP. Thank you!
- Manton Youth Girls Basketball Camp: There will be a basketball camp for current 2nd-5th grade girls on Tuesday, May 31st-June 2nd. Forms were sent home on Friday. The cost is $10 per player. Thanks! Tuesday, May 24th will be the deadline for your child to get a t-shirt.
- Junior Golf: June 1st-3rd. Call Emerald Vale to reserve your spot. The cost is $30 per player. Thanks!
Spring Social/Ice Cream Social: Our Spring Social will be on Thursday, May 26, at 6:30 PM. 2nd-4th graders are asked to arrive at 6:00 in the Ranger Room, and the ice cream social will begin approximately at 7:00 PM. Thanks!
PTO: The PTO (parent-teacher organization) is looking for new parent recruits who want to be a part of a great group to enhance the school experience for all students! Please get in touch with Mr. Katona if you're interested in joining! Our next meeting will be on Sunday, May 22, at 6:30 PM in the Elementary Library. The doors on Maple Street will be open at 6:20 PM.
Kindergarten Roundup: If you have a student eligible for kindergarten next year, you can contact the elementary office for roundup information. You can sign up here as well!
Headstart and GSRP are accepting students for enrollment for the next school year. See the flyer below.
- Drop-off Lane: Parents/Guardians! Please don't leave your vehicle in the drop-off lane, and please pull forward to allow other vehicles to enter. This WILL help the flow of traffic.
- Parents are strongly encouraged not to contact the office after 2:30 PM to have their child picked up unless of an emergency. The office is busy after 2:30, and it may be challenging to accommodate parents' requests.
- Visitors: Visitors will not be allowed to enter the building this year.
- Medication can not be given without paperwork from the school signed by the physician, and this includes Epi-pens and inhalers as well as prescribed and non-prescribed medication. The kitchen cannot accommodate any food modifications without the form from the school filled out by a physician. Please be sure to contact the office and get the proper paperwork for any Medication disbursement or food modification forms for the kitchen.
- Next year's teacher: New this year! Families will be notified of their child's next year's teacher in June.
